Primary School tutoring

One-on-one help for Primary School students
Primary school can shape how children feel about learning.
When a child starts to fall behind, early support can help.
Ian works with primary school students from Year 1 onwards.
He comes to your home and works with your child one-on-one.
This gives your child space to ask questions.
It also gives Ian time to see what they need.
Reading, Spelling and Phonics support
Ian supports children who are learning to read. He can also help students improve reading, spelling, and phonics.
Some children need more time with letter sounds. Some need help reading sentences with confidence.
Others need support in understanding what they have read.
Ian uses clear, steady steps to build these skills.
Maths, Handwriting and school confidence
Primary tutoring can also include Maths, handwriting, and general schoolwork.
The first lesson helps Ian see your child’s current level.
From there, he can build lessons around their needs.
This may include catching up, revising schoolwork, or building stronger foundations.
Small steps help your child learn
If you feel something is not quite right, it is worth asking early.
Tutoring can help before small gaps become bigger gaps.
It can also help your child feel more settled at school. Many parents first notice a change in confidence.
